noise at the o/p of comparotrs

hi all had any worked on max 9201 compatator i am facing a problem when i am comparing two signals . the comaparotor o/p connected to level translaters followed by fpga my problem is when there in no i/p signal the comparator still generating noise at the o/p this noise creating huge current draw can any body help regarding this problem?
