I need to build circuits for level translation between NIM logic (fast negative) and TTL. Once upon a time, LeCroy sold such a NIM module but they are long gone.

One idea is to start with existing ICs that translate between TTL and ECL and go from there.

For NIM -> TTL, it appears that the MC10H125 Quad MECL-to-TTL translator might work directly since it has differential inputs.

For TTL -> NIM, the MC10H124 Quad TTL-to-MECL outputs would need to be converted to NIM. Someone has suggested a line driver, but this part I am not clear on.

The eventual PCB will need to contain four TTL -> NIM and four NIM -> TTL circuits. Any suggestions?

If you want to design your own converter, using discrete transistors may be the easier way. You find circuit suggestions on the net, e.g.
