Hi,

I am planning to use NGSpice for doing some simulations. However, since it is a non GUI based tool, can anyone pls tell me how to integrate NGSpice with a schematic design GUI – say LTSpice. If I remember correctly, there was a webpage somewhere which gave out the exact instructions on this matter. It will be great if someone remembers where the page is. Or suggest how to integrate some other schematic designing GUI with NGSpice.

Looking forward to your inputs.

Thanks in advance,

Arvind Gupta

Sounds plausible to use an open source tool, googling "ngspice schematic entry" gives many hits, e.g. tutorials and detailed instructions for integration with KiCad.

xschem is my preference for IC design (KiCAD has more
PCB-relevant features I believe, so could be better if that
is what you're doing).
