Newbie question for PIC16f628a--Config

I don't know when and how to use "config" can someone explain me that please? With the proper syntax. Maybe with an example of an led blinking. I tried looking around online I just get confused. I have MPLAB 8.88 and a Hi-tech C compiler so if you guys can help out in explaining it I would greatly appreciate it! I'm also using the PIC16f628a.
