New to systemc and hardware design - need ideas for a thesis

Hello everyone.
I am studying SystemC for 2 months now.
I want to write my thesis on SystemC and i am looking for an idea of a system to model.
Because of my lack of experince its not easy for me.
Can you please help me by providing some ideas of some easy implementations?
I am not asked to come up with something of an advanced level.

pini_1 I haven't gone through all your projects yet but i am studying the CRC32 for ethernet model.
Do you think would be a nice idea to try to design a model for CRC64?
