Re: new to DDR memories help needed

You can also go to a memory vendor's website and download a datasheet..say a 1Gb DDR2/DDR3...

Hi,
I want to use 128kb from 1gb of memory. Also i want to change my clock rate?

How to do this?

If you know, please suggest me with some ideas.

You can use whatever size you want to use(not more than 1 gb in your case). Just take care of the addresses. You can also use any clock frequency you want to provided it is less than or equal to the max frequency.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
Could you please give some example or procedure regarding how to do it ?

Clock is applied externally. So you have to change it's frequency before it is applied to the DRAM. The addresses are anyway under your control.
