when i've used mws v4.0 and v4.1 i wasn't able to optimize because of crashing in sbe6_32.dll (under winXPsp1). these crashes occured at some dimension variables modifications.
in mws v4.2 sbe6_32.dll is version 6.4.0.75 now (instead of 6.4.0.25) and i have no sbe6 errors.
mws works fine now! and i can use cst ds.
but i have cst ds v2.0 and i think it has some bugs.
parameter sweep works correct but i cann't understand what cst ds does during optimization. it reports goal is reached (|s11| dB < some value in some frequency range) but i can see that s11 value is greater than initial one. (??)
i hope new version is free from this bug.
best regards.

i've forgotten to mention maybe most main.
some small cst bug
cst mws v4.x creates registry key:
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\CST GmbH\CST MicroWave Studio\4.0]
"INSTALLPATH"="your installation path"
but cst ds v2.0 looks for key:
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\CST GmbH\CST MicroWaveStudio\4.0]
"INSTALLPATH"="your installation path"
cst ds cann't find needed key, cann't run mws and creates error message:
"You have not installed Microwave Studio properly" or some similar.
suggested solving:
run regedit.exe and edit (better create new) CST GmbH key without whitespace between "MicroWave" and "Studio".
maybe this bug is absent in cst ds v2.2 ... regrettably i have not this version.
