hi friends,
i think about designing a net-book for my school project. i'm familiar with micro-controllers and micro-processors, but do you know any references to achieve this goal?
i'm studying electronic at university and also i know basics but i don't know the way!
i will be grateful for your help in advance.
thanks,

are you going to build a netbook or do you want to design it?
You can build by using bare bones laptops ... if you want to design your own then you should start with motherboard. So first choose architecture ( X86 , ARM etc.) I think its so complex project for one guy. :)

yeah, i know that....
but i wanna design an arm-based net-book.....
thanks

Do you have funds for it? I mean manufacturing ONE piece or say... 10 layer pcb of netbook size (appr. 10") will cost you ALOT. And for proper design you will probably first need to make at least one prototype.
