hi everyone.
I was designing a schematic which is consist of a microcontroller, 7segment, buttons and a few other parts. I was about to label nets between 7segment and the mocrocontroller that a question came into my mind. What net label name should be selected? should I label it with the mocrocontroller pin name or the 7segment pin name.
For example I want to connect the 'PA.4' pin of microcontroller to 'a' pin of the 7segment. Now which net name should I choose? 'a' or 'PA.4'.
Is there any standard for this?

thank you

There’s no Industry standard that I’m aware of; there may be standards within a company. Personally, I just give them names that say what the net’s function is, e.g. RAM1_WEN.
