[PIC] Need USB example for PIC18f4550

Hi,

I am new to the USB, i have studied about USB theory in the internet.

I have found a example on below link.

In that host application developed in the visual studio, HID firmware in the mplab. When I try this example, my pc not detecting the the micro controller. I have checked the connections and firmware all are fine.
I need some more reference and examples on USB using PIC18f4550.

i think your VID and PID value on both hardware as well as software must be match .

Try using easyUSBHIDNetClass for VC# and VB.net or mcHID.dll from helmpcb.org for VB.net

How to get VID and PID values.
I have installed all the basic usb drivers from the microchip website.

first hid means to implement with your Key Board Or Mouse so in computer device Manger mouse and keyboard vid and pid declare in property window.so this vid and pid to use in your code.
