Need suggestions for selection of electrodes for ecg acquisation

I am doing a project on acquiring ecg signal from a patient and processing this signal for further analysis.I want to acquire the signal from a patient.Any suggestions about choosing the right electrode for the above stated purpose would be very much helpful.Thanks in advance.
