Need schematic for Garmin GPS12XL

I have a working Garmin GPS12XL however an 8 pin SMT IC gets extremly hot.
The IC may be a regulator IC but the part number is baked off. I can make out
a bit of the part number. looks like NDS9955

Does anyone have a schematic For this Unit?
