Need materials to learn Matlab fast

Hi
I have no experience of doing programming but i am working in field of MRI and for quantitative measurements of images I have to use Matlab for programming.
Can anyone give suggetsion how to learn matlab and use it in short time.

Well there is a great book called

Introduction to MATLAB 7 for Engineers published by Mcgraw Hill

Master MATLAB7 also Published by McGraw Hill

and the MATLAB Help is very useful
