Hi all,

does anyone know how to tell whether a transistor/opamp circuit has a series/shunt input/output?
and what do mixing and sampling mean?

is there a feedback in this circuit? i can't see there's any feedback network

I will show you the feedback path.
In many cases it is possible by visual inspection to identify the feedback loop - but not always.
A common collector stage is such a case - and you need the desriptive formulas to see the feedback effect.
When these formulas are transferred to a block diagram you see the feedback loop (see pdf attachement)
