Need help to understand the VCVS (analogLib) instance working

Hi Experts,

Can someone please help me to answer following queries ?

I have a test setup which uses an instance VCVS from spctre analogLib.
I could not find any relevant information about the functioning of VCVS when 'type of transfer char' is selected as PWL (see attached image) and Number of PWL vector is set to 4.

in,out pairs are the sample points of a piecewise linear function (PWL) defining the VCVS transfer characteristic. I believe it's well explained in the Spectre reference manual.
