Need Help to Install Synopsys Tool

Dear everybody,

I am installing Synopsys tools (scl, then vcs,...). I think I installed successfully them, because when I run license I receive:

But, when I run command: dve
I have problem:

I use CentOS-5

Please help me to correct it.

Maybe you don't have that feature. Try to run other program like "vcs".

I cannot run it.
When I check:
lmstat -a -c
I receive:

License server ...not support
License server ...not support
License server ...not support
.....

All features: license server not support.

I have a friend, he only install it successfully one times on CentOS4.
After that, I and he install it on any PC to be not successful.

I have the similar problems too which involves license file not found. Hope i can get some help

Yup, you need to setup the flexlm server. It can either be run on the local or connect to an external server. Ask your admin where the license is.

you need start snps license server by lmgrd -c your_license.dat

Synopys TCAD Tools on Ubuntu 64 bits
The request has two purposes: 1) Proof that the software fully install and operates and 2) the detail log of the installation will show me how to install the software on my computer.

If you are not success installation the software and a simple test run (like a simple demo test with the software demo suite) then how can I do it.

I think you have license problem. I installed synopsys vcs and synopsys dc on ubuntu 12.04 and both work very well
