need help to find out AC Current by(ACS-712 30A)

I am using ACS712T IC to measure Ac current but the output voltage of this IC is DC .now my question is that how can i measure ac current by using Acs712T IC?
somebody please help me..

0A =2.5Vdc
AC swings around that , since this is a single supply IC using 5V
To convert to DC use a precision rectifier Design with OA and diode.
