Re: need help interfacing mobile phone with computer via rs2

are you connecting rs232 9pin connector signals directly to Usb hub ?

how did you do it ?
directly or which pins of rs23 to D+ and D- and 5/0 v.?

hello ,

kindly explain me your intention.

it seems that your mobile phone has usb interface.
your computer has rs232 interace.

to connect these you have bought the model HU01 and to connect to usb , you have
got (may be with great difficulty ) of the conversion adapters.

(have seen all pictures) .

am i right?.

What I see is that if you didn't do any modification to your cellphone it is not going to work...

The problem is that USB is a complete slave / master protocol, so in order for this to work, and your phone is usually a slave, and the adapter is a slave too. Even if your phone had host(master) capabilities, a driver for RS232 for your phone certainly does not exist.

In short, this means that the adapter only works to connect a computer to a RS232 device, and not the opposite.
