I am creating a pcb layout on express pcb. The layout is from 'http://www.dharmanitech.com/2008/08/make-yourself-atmega32-starters-kit.html'. I wanted to know for any IC or connector that I choose what does the square dot stands for. Also I want to use 16 pin in line connector to connect lcd but could not locate in the library

Express PCB is a low level PCB design tool.. but i think it contain the connector models.. if u want to connect the LCD use burg strip lib. The Square dot stands for th PIN number 1 of the connector
