hi

if anyone knows some about the downsampling , please explain it to me....

Q: when we down sample our data, our original data could be lost or not???

regards

Data is not lost provided u obey Sampling theorm !!! Downsampling is multirate signal sampling you can say...
In any case either downsampling or up....u obey Sampling Theorm..so u can always recover the original signal..

has long has u obey nyquist sampling u will never loose any of ur information
