HI...
i have installed cadence IC5141 few days back...and also i downloaded the ncsu cdk kit..
when i invoking the icfb through the ncsu directory the error coming is

THE ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE CDK_DIR MUST BE DEFINED TO USE THE NCSU CDK..
IT IS NOT DEFINED IN THE CALLING ENVIRONMENT..SO THE NCSU CUSTOMISATIONS WILL NOT PERFOMED.

after that when i open the library manager the no libraries..
please help me...

i am using the Red Hat linux...

thank you...
prasad.

I just saw this error the other day. Here is how I fixed it:

1) Copy the ncsu/cdssetup/cdsinit to your home directory.
2) In your home directory rename it to .cdsinit
3) Make a new empty directory and invoke icfb from there.

There is a lot of backend setup that is needed, so I am not sure if that will fix your problem or not, it fixed mine.
BTW in my install I have a system level cds.lib that loads basic Design Kit Libraries when no local cds.lib is present. If you don't have that you won't see any libraries to start with.
