Need help from Holtek MCU 49R50 experieced user

Anyone has experience on using Holtek 49R50 or 48R30 MCU? The development tool is very bad. Please let me know if you're willing to share experience.
 

I never used HT49xx microcontroller, only HT48Rxx ones with great success.
The HT-IDE is the same, and i find it very very nice thanks to his source-level debugger (i use debugger with HT-ICE emulator).
Which is the problem, exactly? Do you need a simple source as an example?
