Need help for dimmer with PIC12F629 (possible compatible SLB0587) schematic
and firmware.

There is a dimmer circuit (gradateur in french) with IR funcionalities on this page:

But it's for Pic16F84 and i think it only has the hex not an asm.
Anyway it's a good guide i think

The application note are: AN0017 - Dimmer Using the Z8 microcontroller.

Copy the hardware, replace the microcontroller and re-write the code!

This schematic one got me thinking on doing one too
Just wondering what is D2 with value 5.6U is? A zener,a normal diode , a special diode?
The rest of the circuit is very straitforward!
