need advice on measurement for snr of adc!

How to measure the snr of adc?I see the national semiconductor's document say's that power of the signal/the power of the noise excluding of the dc and signal bins.
The bins of noise didn't include of the dc.But how many dc frequency bins should be excluded measured for snr?
