I am trying to build a very compact Bluetooth device that has two quarter size speakers, microphone for cell use, and also is Am/Fm radio capable. This would have to be able to be paired with any cell phone.. Anyone?
Do you need only full duplex speech quality audio stream (hands free) or do you require also A2DP which allows streaming of high quality stereo sound? Since you need to include the AM/FM radio I suspect that you are looking for the latter one. One module that includes A2DP and has buildin codec is Bluegiga WT32. Can be bought from mouser or from sparkfun with breakout board. For simple use cases you don't necessarily need a host controller. Hackaday project about using WT32 for making a autokit
This is actually not for an Auto..if that's what you meant. I am trying to put this project together for my bike helmet. two little speakers would fit inside perfectly. would like to be able to stream from my phone and also have the option for am/fm but not neccessary... i have the idea just have no clue on the know how part.. thx
