I am designing AC-DC converter input mains voltage 220 V
output 60 - 80 VDC 30 A (nonadjustable) continuous output . The best topology for this seems full bridge with pwm controller aka PC power supply (those mainly half bridge). Could someone recommend mosfet or bipolar transistor working in 50 kHz - 150 kHz range capable of delivering ~2.5 KW power with best price performance availability constraints?

Thanks

the above answer is still to expensive for this nonadjustable converter

try using thyristor full bridge : the output voltage Vo = (2Vm cos a)/phi, where Vm is the maximum voltage of AC signal and a is the angle to be controlled

you can use MOSFETS from infineon

Using parallel mosfet is best choice. Beside it's low Rds MOSFET olso consume low gate current.
