Hi,
In order to use in a functional near-infrared imaging project, we need LEDs that have wavelength in the near infrared range (between about 700-900 nm). We have found that the most suitable choice for us is to use a multi-wavelength IR LED. The LED that is used as a standard in these kind of projects is the LED of Epitex:1
L4*730/4*805/4*850-40Q96-1 **broken link removed**
L735/805/850-40B32

These LEDs produce light in 730-805-850 nm wavelength, first one has an array of 4 for each wavelength (12 LEDs in total). The second one has 3 LEDs in total. I have contacted the producer (epitex) and the supplier (given above: zdic) but they say that they only accept orders of MOQ 50 and these LEDs are quite expensive, which means we can't afford buying such high quantities. For our project we only need a few of these LEDs.
Does anyone have those LEDs (perhaps used them in a previous project..?) or know how to get our hands on them without directly buying high amounts from the supplier?
We searched a lot on the web but it seems like they are not commonly sold on online electronics markets...

Thanks a lot for your interest.

Is it a requirement for your application to have all LED integrated in one package ?
It would be much more easier to get single LEDs with the different wavelengths of interest (730, 805 and 850 nm).
