Need a photodiode that is sunlight protected and receives light via laser beam

is there any kind of photodiode avilable that is sunlight protected.that is it recieves light only thru the laser beam which im using as a transmitter n rejects all other light sources particularly sunlight.

try making a filter from a combination of red and green perspex. Perhaps you can modulate the IR source. On the receiver you can then filter out un-modulated IR light. Do a search on IR remote controls to see how this is done

if im modulating the ir signal at 38khz thn wat will be the max range b/w TXr n Rxr i can attain n cud u guide with the circuit for the same asap plz
