Hi,

I am working on a UWB tracking system, in which a transmitter sends a narrow time pulse and four differently located antennas receive this pulse. By using the time difference of arrival approach, the x,y,z of the transmitter can be obtained.

However, since this system is required to be as accurate as possible, I was thinking of using some sort of modeling in order to account for random errors due to noise or multiple reflections. I need to obtain several measurements and then through some probabilistic algorithm I can accurately determine the position of the transmitter. I would really appreciate it if anyone can give me the names of algorithms that might be used in such cases.

Thank you in advance,
Adel
