A GaAs sample is illuminated with a light having a wavelength of 0.6 pm. The incident
power is 15 mW. If one-third of the incident power is reflected and another third exits from
the other end of the sample, what is the thickness of the sample? Find the thermal energy
dissipated per second to the lattice.
