does nanotechnology pose dager to vlsi enginers jobs in particularl to physical design engineers?

may be am unable to put the question right, but hope u got my point!
( i don't mean nanotechnology by 90nano or 45nano....)

i think nanotech will pose a challenge on ic design flow, especially in physical implementation, becoz more factors should be considered.

i guess i didn get ur question right but i feel
there isnt much distinction between vlsi or nanotechnology,i believe its just a fancy name.we have been evolving from 600 nm to 300 nm now to 180 nm(in analog design ) and further 90nm is to come,,,when we are ready with the model we can analyse any kinda circuit ,we just need a realisable model ...i

Definitely it will. nano tubes dissipate power much lesser than silicon. But Front end vlsi engineers are still required there..
