Mutual Impedance of Patch Array due to a Varactor

Hello
Does anyone know how the impedance
of a patch is affected when a varactor
is placed between two patches. One of the
patch is fed while varactor is used to connect
the two patches to produce tunable antenna.
The picture is clear in the figure attached.
Pl suggest any reading material, or website
or whatever that can help.
