This is Multiple I2C LCD code. It is written using CCS C Compiler version 5.044. This si tested in Proteus and also EasyPIC v7 development board with 2 x 20x4 LCDs. LCDs should be HD44780 or compatible. I have used I2C LCDs and I2C LCD modules from Banggood.

I will soon post mikroC PRO PIC and AVR versions of the code here.

With this you can have 8 LCDs. Any combination of 16x2, 20x2 and 20x4.

If you have I2C device like DS1307 then you can have 7 LCDs.

Sorry, DS1307 address is fixed and it is 0xD0. So, You can have DS1307 or any other I2C device with fixed I2C address and also 8 LCDs to display different datas.

Updated version. No you can use any combination of 16x2, 16x4, 20x2 and 20x4 LCDs. You can have 8 LCDs to display different things.

If code is modified to use i2c1 and i2c2 then 16 LCDs can be used with PIC having 2 I2C bus. I need such a system to make a calendar system.
