[General] Multilink Universial Programmer not detecting

Hi all,

I am using this device,




it doesn't detect when connecting with the system,even the led not glow.When i check this usb pins its got short but i think its a power,



Kindly guide me to troubleshoot the device, what may be the issue and how to solve this?
