Suppose several steerable dish antennas, or even just two, on the same site, moving together.
Suppose the downconverted IF frequency has to be high enough to deliver a 500MHz bandwidth.
To make it easier, let us allow they can be mechanically identical.

What system hardware setup might be necessary to get the signals to be in phase when combining?

Thinks..at least a single low-phase-noise reference oscillator that serves all.
Settable phase shifters of some kind?
