HELLO EVERYONE,
I'M STUDYING TELECOMMUNICATION AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING MSC. HOWEVER, I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR TOPIC FOR MY DISSERTATION FOR WEEKS NOW BUT NOT UNTIL SOMEONE ADVISED I SHOULD DO SOMETHING ON *SOFTWARE DEFINED RADIO* SDR. PLEASE I NEED MORE BACKGROUND UNDERSTANDING OF SDR AND THE EXPERTISE INVOLVED (i.e knowledge needed) AND ALSO WHICH AREA IN SDR I SHOULD FOCUS ON.

ANY SUGGESTION OF TOPICS RELATED TO COMMUNICATION WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED

THANKS ALL

Hi,

What's wrong searching the internt on your own?
I tried it.
There are many informations in wikipedia, there are semiconductor manufacturers that support you with devices and related informations....

You don't even ask a specific question. So it's hard to give a specific answer.

Yes, like Klaus mentioned, you should do a little search from your end for theory.

For implementation though, I'd suggest using USRP2 for ease of programming, support available online (GNU Radio etc) and flexibility it provides.
