How do I access my Windows installer version and how do I replace it with the
latest version. I am a newby so give me a clk by clk procedure please.

msi installer program is usually 'msiexec.exe' in
c:\windows\system or c:\windows\system32

you can use 'find files' to locate it in c drive.
once located you can right click on the exe and 'properties' field will show you the version number.
