1)what's are those CNC labeled? what elements are those?
2)what are those diode connected transistors.

any comments and insight on this particular circuit?

Re: what can I learn from this positive volatge pump design?

1-Those are semiconductor capacitors but I don't know what type they are..
2-The MOS are not diode connected, they have been used instead of resistors ( may be voltage controlled, depends on Vint ) or they are simply Pull-Up resistors.Vgs=Vds so the MOS operates in Linear Region being as resistor

Re: what can I learn from this positive volatge pump design?

1) if they are capacitors why not just tied the drain and source together like this? that would serve as capacitor. Like this

2)In all literature, anytimes gate tied to drain, they refer that as diode connected transistor that serve as diode. Like this

Re: what can I learn from this positive volatge pump design?

-They might be but the symbol can be different
-The BJTs can be connected as "diode connection" but MOS are not.The author has "simulated" the connection onto BJT analogy.
