Dear All

i am doing work on echo cancellation by using LMS.
i used awg noise and add it to my origenal signal and than tracked the signal by using matlab builtin function adaptfilt.lms(taps, mu);

the results are superb, but my supervisor says that its not echo, but in fact u r doing De noising the actual signal

my question is that

what is the main difference between Echo and de noising. ?
how i can make echo signal for my case
does channel estimation and echo cancellation are same things..???
what is double talk , and how i can add and than remove it
