Is microcode reverse engineering to C-code even possible for HC68MC908AS60 MCU? There are some Chinese sites who say they can do it. Is this real or just talk? I have written to a couple of companies, but no answer so far. I am not looking help with copying, that I could do myself. I want to look from the code, what the MCU needs to do, in order to write a new code with some adds. Since the HC68MC908AS60 is outdated, I could also use the code to see what functions are in use and what would be the modern MCU to replace it.
The product is more than 10 years old and no longer on sale. Manufacturer is not interested to give out any information about code or its functions to a hobby electronic like myself.
