What are the things to be noted for a repair technician in replacing a mosfet from a PCB ?

Voltage levels, drain current, Ron and Gate voltage and current.

Find the reason why it blew up otherwise the replacement may do the same thing!

Keith

it may be because of long term use ?

can we replace with any mosfet, which can handle the same voltage and current or a higher value if we change the resistor at the Gate ?
