mon51 require ram and rom ? pls help....

MON51 must require both external ram and rom to work ?
i wan to build the circuit by my self, if need both ram and rom, it need so many wire...

any1 have the schematic diagram for MON51?
i m using microcontroller at86s8252..

and i wan ask that, the mon51 program is store at external rom?
the user program code store at external ram?

and max232, serial port, than it can work ??
