Modern TV faultfinding and Repair

Hi all,

Is there a section here for TV repair? I've looked and searched but the word "TV" is too short.

I'm interested in buying a book on TV repair but all the ones available are basically too old.
Can anybody recommend a good book or even a good forum that deals with modern TV (LED, LCD, Plasma) repair?

hi u just need to know the basic first{how the plasma works,lcd and led} secondly know componets {linear and passive} thirdly know how to use tools {test tools-multimeter and scope, hand tools-screwdrivers ,soldering irons and hot -air guns etc.fourthly how to read schematic drawings.Read different trainning manuals lastly do hands on repair.goodluck.

Yes, I can do most of those except the first bit, how LCD, Plasma and LED TVs work. So this is why I was asking a bout a suitable book. Perhaps even one I could download or review first. Thanks for reply.
