Hi,

Coudl someone explain what is the difference between Modelsim and Modelsim Designer? Both are from Mentor Graphics.

ModelSim is the HDL simulator (Verilog, VHDL, SystemC). ModelSim Designer is like the integrated FPGA design tools from Altera and Quartus. I guess they wanted to keep the ModelSim design name because it's a popular trademark for them; the most popular HDL simulator on the market.
