Guys i have a Bluetooth enabled Nokia Phone ,and have a HP compaq Laptop with wi-fi and bluetooth..
i have installed a application on my computer and also on phone,by which i can convert my nokia phone into Webcam via Bluetooth and stream the video on my PC screen..
So basically the mobile has to send data to the laptop..right?
Can u tell me how much far can a Nokia Wi-Fi enabled phone can transmit data in a fully opened field?

Till now i have used Bluetooth to connect..it works in a range of about 5 meters..
My laptop Wi-fi has a transfer speed of 3 Megabytes per sec..
So can anyone tell me how much range will i get if i connect the mobile via Wi-Fi..
Via bluetooth in a open field the range i get is 5 meters..
how about Wi-Fi in open field...?
Please help.....

Wi-FI 2.5 or 5 GHZ ? 5GHz is limited to approximately 35 m indoor and 100 m for outdoor. For 2.5 GHz range is better.

Wat is the standard for Nokia mobiles...2.5Ghz or 5Ghz
