Hi everyone...well i'm doing a mobile vehicle for my project..i would like to know how to calculate the speed of rotation for the vehicle wheels...so do how to calculate the force and other related calculations for mobile vehicle...thanks in advance n lookin forward for all helpful replies

thanks

well u must be using some motor for the vehichle then from the data sheet u can see the RPM and power of the motor and to control that u have to make some circuit along with transformer in between to controll the current flow through the micro controller.

hello ther..thanks for ur reply...well i'm currently modifying a real control car as for my mobile vehicle..so it difficult to get the motor data sheet...anyway how cud i calculate the max. force and etc about a mobile vehicle....thanks

You need to understand about VSS - Vehicle Speed Sensors (sometimes called Hall Effect Sensors). Basically they connect to the gear box and will give out a train of pulses when the wheels turn. You need to know the number of pulses for a given distance (say pulses/mile) and then calculate the speed. There is more to it but that's the basics.... Good luck!
