i need to know that whether the mobile phone can be automatically be put to silent using RFID technology is it possible to do so?

It is possible with NFC technology. By reading unique manufacturer ID from reader or card and check if it matches registered ID then turn phone into silent mode.

But if you need this to happen, please bare in mind that phone which runs on battery has to periodically read NFC which eats up battery power.
