Missing of characters during sending through GSM modem.

Hi,
Dear all
I am doing some work on sending messeges through GSM modem, but phasing a problem that I am unable to get all characters in messeges.
Please help & tell that is there any special thing to do for sending/recieving all characters or what?
Please note that normaly we can send & recieve messeges but in case of recieving all characters we failed.
looking for right direction.
