Minimum Number of scan chain in a design

Can we have only one scan chain in a Design?

Yes. We can have any number of scan chain. We can have also single scan chain..but it depends on the design...If so much Scan enable flops are there thn we use the multiple no of scan chain to reduce the Simulation Time.

Reducing scan chains will also increase tester time.
