I would like to know how to select the suitable micro controller use in transmitter and receiver projects.
Any special specifications need to highlight?

Thanks.

you have to first decide what is the protocol you are using for your radio application.
what are the resources required for different communication layers(like network layer, application layer). Depending upon the data rate and resources required you can decide the microcontroller required for radio application.
In most of the cases well known processors like MSP430, some higher versions of 8051 core and some times ARM can be used for different applications.
